Poem Reads:
I see a bird lying on the ground
and its hollow bones are broken
its glazed eyes are lifeless
And I wonder
if it jumped and spread its wings
because the world said
it was brave enough to fly
But perhaps
it wasn’t ready yet
maybe it needed a little more time
